Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra launches in India at ₹1,49,999 — 14.6-inch AMOLED, Dimensity 9500, IP68, and S Pen included from day one. Sales began October 7, 2026, via Samsung’s online store and retail partners. Four configurations are available, all with 12GB RAM, in Gray or Silver, and the S Pen ships in the box, magnetically attached to the top edge of the 5G model.
No separate purchase required. No Bluetooth on the pen: Air Actions and remote shutter are gone. But handwriting remains best-in-class: 4,096 pressure levels, near-zero latency in Samsung Notes, reliable palm rejection, and shape correction for lines and diagrams. The stylus is hexagonal, IP68-rated, battery-free, and ready to write the moment you lift it.
That’s the core promise, and the main reason to buy. Not portability. At 695 grams and 5.1 mm thick, the 5G variant is heavy and unwieldy for one-handed use. You’ll rest it on a lap, desk, or stand.
Reflections off the glossy 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen are persistent, especially under overhead lights or near windows, though HDR10+, 120Hz, and 1,600-nit peak brightness make movies and multitasking vivid. The display resolution is 2960 × 1848. It runs One UI 9 on Android 17. Key upgrades over last year’s model: Dimensity 9500 chip, Wi-Fi 7, four-channel spatial audio, and an 11,600 mAh battery.
The optical fingerprint sensor sits on the right side in landscape, functional but slow, and awkward until you retrain muscle memory. The front camera lives in a small notch along the top bezel (landscape orientation), and the rear has a dual-camera setup with LED flash. Pogo-pin contacts line the bottom edge for keyboard docks.
Samsung’s Enhanced Armor Aluminum body feels rigid and premium. IP68 rating is confirmed, dust- and water-resistant per standard test conditions. No ultrawide camera. No fan.
No 3D face unlock. Just a large, bright, precise tablet built for notes, PDFs, and second-screen work. Availability is live. Pricing starts at ₹1,49,999.
No US or UK price is mentioned in the reporting.
