Prime Day wrapped up days ago, but somebody at Amazon appears to have left the Samsung Galaxy Watch discounts running. TechRadar reported on October 9 that the sale prices on three generations of Samsung's smartwatch lineup were still showing up on Amazon US, well past when Prime Day deals are supposed to expire.
The biggest cut is on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic LTE, which TechRadar listed at $449.99, down from $549.99, a $100 saving. The Classic is the version with the rotating bezel for navigating menus and the Quick button first introduced on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The LTE model can be tied to a phone's data plan for calls and messages without a handset nearby, and at this price it actually undercuts the Bluetooth-only Galaxy Watch 8, according to the outlet.
The standard Galaxy Watch 8 has its own discounts. TechRadar listed the 40mm Bluetooth-only model at $219.99, down from $299.99, an $80 cut. The larger 44mm version was listed at $304, down from $329.99, a smaller eight percent saving of $26.
The oldest watch in the mix, the Galaxy Watch 7, got the steepest percentage cut. TechRadar put the starting price at $159.99, down from $249.99, a 36% saving, with the 44mm size listed at $189.99, down from $279.99. The Watch 7 keeps Samsung's Galaxy AI features, including the personalized Energy Score that estimates daily readiness based on sleep and activity data, the same feature carried over to the newer models.
TechRadar's own review of the Galaxy Watch 8 called it "a triumph," pointing to a redesign and running-focused tracking tools as reasons to recommend it even before the discount. The outlet's reviewer said the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was popular enough that he wore his to his own wedding, for whatever that's worth to a prospective buyer.
None of this is confirmed as an extended or official sale. TechRadar's reporting frames it as deals that simply haven't been pulled down yet, not a second Prime Day. That means the prices could revert to full retail at any point, and Amazon hasn't said anything about keeping Prime Day pricing active afterward.
For anyone sitting on the fence about which Galaxy Watch to buy, the gap between the Classic and the base Galaxy Watch 8 has narrowed at these prices, and the Watch 7 remains the cheapest way into Samsung's wearable ecosystem. Whether the listings survive the week is anyone's guess. Watch Amazon's own listing pages for the three watches rather than assuming the current numbers hold.
