Samsung's One UI 9.0 rollout keeps widening. The company has pushed the stable version of the Android 17 based software to the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A15, closing out their beta programs, while separately rolling the update out to four budget phones directly in India.

For the Galaxy A54, the beta ran for exactly one month before Samsung flipped the switch to stable, according to SamMobile. The update is rolling out first in South Korea, starting with users who were already enrolled in the beta, and it weighs in at 274.52MB with firmware version A546SKSUKGZJ5. Samsung typically expands these rollouts to other markets within days, so Indian A54 owners should see it land soon through Settings, Software update, Check for updates.

The Galaxy A15 took a longer road to get here. Its beta program ran for more than a month and went through three separate builds before Samsung called it done, per SamMobile. The stable update, carrying firmware version A156LKSUAEZJC, is also rolling out in South Korea first. Samsung hasn't disclosed the download size for this one.

Four budget phones get it straight to India

While those two phones go through the usual beta-to-stable pipeline, Samsung is taking a different approach with the Galaxy M56, Galaxy M17, Galaxy F17 and Galaxy A35. According to Gadgets 360, which cited user reports, the stable One UI 9 update is rolling out directly to these four phones in India, no public beta required. The update bundles the October 2026 Android security patch along with the usual One UI 9 changes: interface tweaks, system performance improvements and updated security protections.

One UI 9 is Samsung's take on Android 17, and it brings a broader set of changes than a typical point update, touching notification handling, system animations and a handful of settings menus Samsung has reorganized. The company hasn't published a single master list of what's new for every device, since mid-range and budget phones often get a trimmed-down version of the features that show up on flagships.

As always with Samsung's staggered rollouts, timing will vary by model, region and whether a particular unit was part of a carrier batch. Owners of the A54, A15, M56, M17, F17 or A35 can check availability the same way: head into Settings, tap Software update, then Check for updates. If it's not there yet, Samsung's pattern over the past few updates suggests it's a matter of days rather than weeks before the rollout reaches a wider set of devices and regions, India included.
