Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event ends today. Wired says now is the time to buy two Shark vacuums — and only two. The rest are not discounted, per its report.
The Shark PowerDetect stick vacuum is on sale. Its newer sibling, the Shark PowerDetect Speed, is not. That makes the older model the better buy right now, Wired says, even though the Speed is the outlet’s current favorite. Why? Because the PowerDetect packs more suction power and a larger dustbin, and it’s cheaper in this deal than the Speed would be at full price.
Wired tested it earlier this year. It outperformed a top Dyson model and a new Bosch vacuum. It bends in the middle. So it slides easily under sofas and beds.
The Clean & Empty version is also discounted. It includes a charging base that empties the bin automatically. Wired’s reviewer lost her last vacuum’s cord three times. She recommends the base.
The Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal robot vacuum is also on sale. It uses UV light to spot stains on hard floors. When it finds one, it circles back to clean it, no human input needed. Wired used it on a hardwood ground floor. It found and cleaned stains from months ago.
Wired calls it “the best robot vacuum I’ve tried.” And says this is “the lowest price we typically see” for it.
No dollar amounts appear in Wired’s report. No discount percentages. No before-and-after pricing. Just that the deals are live. And expire tonight.
