Southern Law season 2 live stream: where to watch — November 4 at 10 p.m. ET on A&E

Season 2 of Southern Law premieres Tuesday, November 4 at 10 p.m. ET on A&E in the U.S. In Canada, it also airs at 10 p.m. ET the same day on A&E through participating cable and satellite providers.

## Where to watch

| Country | Channel or service | Free or paid |
|---------|---------------------|--------------|
| United States | A&E (linear), DirecTV (free trial), Philo, Sling, A&E Crime Central (7-day free trial) | Free with trial. A&E Crime Central also offers a 7-day free trial, though season 2 is not yet available there. Only season 1 is currently streaming on the platform. Season 2 is expected to arrive on A&E Crime Central later in 2026, after its linear run concludes.

## What to expect

The second season consists of 10 episodes.

It follows real-life law enforcement officers across the southern U.S., covering traffic stops, high-speed pursuits, and drug busts. The show retains its unscripted, “Cops”-style format, no narration, no reenactments, no studio interviews.

A&E has not announced any changes to the production approach or filming locations for season 2 versus season 1.

This season returns to the same frontline perspective as before: watching officers carry out day-to-day duties in real time.

Tom’s Guide describes it as a true-to-life look at traffic stops and police chases across the southern states, grounded in actual footage, not dramatization. The series does not use voiceover or scripted commentary. Instead, it relies on raw audio and camera work from inside patrol cars and on foot.

While season 1 is already available on A&E Crime Central, Tom’s Guide notes that season 2 will follow “shortly” after its initial broadcast run, but gives no exact date.

There’s been no indication that season 2 will differ structurally or thematically from the first. The outlet confirms the full season order is 10 episodes, matching season 1’s length.

For U.S. Residents traveling abroad, Tom’s Guide says accessing A&E via a VPN is possible, but stresses that this applies only to services where the user already holds a valid subscription.

It explicitly warns against using VPNs to bypass paywalls or access pirated content, noting that Future Publishing does not endorse such use.

In the U.K., the show remains unavailable, neither on linear TV nor via streaming platforms. Tom’s Guide advises viewers there to monitor digital storefronts like Prime Video or Apple TV for future buy-to-own listings, as past seasons of the franchise have appeared there.

Australia has no confirmed broadcaster either, and the same advice applies: wait for digital purchase options or rely on existing U.S. Subscriptions accessed remotely.
