Strava subscribers in the United States can now link their accounts directly inside the Gemini app and ask conversational questions about their complete workout history. The integration went live Thursday across all Gemini plans and marks Strava's second major AI assistant partnership after its earlier Claude connection. International rollout dates have not been announced.
Once connected, the link is read-only and can be revoked at any time from the Personal Intelligence section of Gemini's settings. Gemini then pulls pace data, activity streaks, race splits and the temperature, humidity and wind logged during each effort to answer prompts such as “compare my fastest 10K this year to my all-time best” or “are my strength sessions actually making me faster?” The assistant also breaks down recent races mile by mile and flags environmental factors that may explain why a session felt harder than the numbers suggest.
Strava's own Athlete Intelligence and AI Performance Predictions remain in the app — those require roughly 20 logged activities to estimate marathon finish times, but the Gemini tie-in gives athletes a spreadsheet-free way to interrogate the same raw GPS metrics on desktop or mobile. No word yet on when the feature leaves the US.
