Resident Evil 4 for Nintendo Switch 2 is out now: good performance, but texture pop-in and frame drops hold it back
Resident Evil 4 (Gold Edition) launched for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026. TechRadar calls it a 'good, but imperfect' port: smooth combat, strong visuals in docked mode, but noticeable texture pop-in and occasional frame drops — especially in handheld and complex environments. Motion controls debut here, but horizontal aiming lags. All major DLC included. No price listed.
