Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale ended, but the AirPods Max 2 discount didn't get the memo. The headphones were still listed at $429 as of Thursday, down from their usual $549, according to MacRumors, which tracks Apple pricing and said the deal is live across every color option.

MacRumors called it a "great second-best price" for the AirPods Max 2, noting it hadn't tracked the headphones any lower in months. That puts Apple's over-ear flagship, the successor to the original AirPods Max, at its cheapest in a while without actually hitting an all-time low. Anyone weighing the AirPods Max 2 against Apple's in-ear lineup, including the AirPods Pro 3, will have to make that call on price and form factor alone. Neither MacRumors nor Amazon's listing says anything new about how the second-generation model stacks up against its predecessor beyond the price.

Apple Watch and Mac deals also still running

The AirPods Max 2 isn't the only Apple gear still discounted after the sale technically wrapped. The Apple Watch Series 12 is down to $349.99 for the 42mm GPS model and $399.99 for the 46mm GPS version, each $49 off and what MacRumors says are new all-time lows. A handful of cellular configurations are also marked down, and both sizes come in two colors at those prices.

On the Mac side, the M5 Max Mac Studio with 36GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD sits at $2,299, down from $2,499. The Mac mini is cheaper too: the 16GB RAM/256GB SSD configuration is $779.99, down from $899, and the 16GB/512GB version is $949.99 against a $1,099 list price.

The M5 MacBook Air lineup carries over its Prime Day pricing as well, with nearly every configuration $200 off. The 13-inch model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage runs $1,099, down from $1,299, and is available in all four colors, alongside 16GB/1TB and 24GB/1TB options at the same discount. The 15-inch MacBook Air starts at $1,299 for the 16GB/512GB build, down from $1,499, with a 16GB/1TB version at $1,599.

MacBook Pro buyers get the steepest single cut in the batch: the 14-inch M5 Max model with 36GB of RAM and 2TB of storage is $3,499, a $600 reduction. The larger-display M5 Pro and M5 Max configurations are discounted too, starting at $2,749 and reaching $4,499 for the 48GB/2TB Max build, each $250 to $500 off.

Apple's M4 iPad Air is discounted by as much as $149 in several configurations, with some of those prices matched at Best Buy, MacRumors reported. The 2025 iPad is also down $50 across its Wi-Fi models, starting at $399 for the 128GB version.

Amazon hasn't said when these prices expire. Given Prime Big Deal Days already came and went, anyone eyeing the AirPods Max 2 at $429 or the Mac mini at $779.99 probably shouldn't wait too long to decide.
