Sony's WH-CH720N wireless noise-cancelling headphones tumbled to $88 on Amazon in the US, down from their regular $179.99 list price. That represents a 51 percent markdown on the over-ear set.
PCMag reported the price cut on Monday, October 12, as part of Amazon's daily promotions. The discount applies to a model built around the company's Integrated Processor V1, which handles ambient sound filtering alongside dual-sensor hardware. Sony rates the battery on the pair at up to 35 hours between charges, paired with a lightweight headband intended for long listening sessions.
At $88, the model enters budget territory while retaining the core digital audio processing Sony uses across its costlier lines.
Home theatre gear joins the sale
The headphone markdown landed alongside cuts to two larger pieces of Sony living-room equipment. A 65-inch Sony Bravia 4K Smart TV was listed at $1,298 when PCMag spotted the sale, reduced 35 percent from its standard $1,999.99 sticker price. That set runs on Google TV with Gemini AI integration, using self-lit display tech for black levels alongside Triluminos Pro colour tuning, Dolby Vision high dynamic range, and Dolby Atmos audio pass-through.
Shoppers looking to pair the screen with dedicated audio also saw the Sony HT-S40R 5.1 Home Theatre Soundbar drop to $248 on Amazon. Its typical retail price is $329.99, making the markdown a 25 percent reduction. The system outputs 600W of total power across a three-channel central bar, an external subwoofer, and wireless rear satellite speakers designed to create surround sound without requiring cables run across the living room floor.
None of the listings showed companion discounts for international buyers, leaving the verified savings limited to Amazon's US marketplace. Amazon changes daily promotional pricing quickly, so these listings depend entirely on remaining inventory.
