Amazon India has slashed prices across its streaming hardware and home appliances during the ongoing Great Indian Festival 2026 sale, which opened to shoppers last week.
Leading the hardware markdowns is Amazon's own Fire TV Stick HD. The media streamer was listed at Rs 2,999 on Amazon when Gadgets 360 reported the pricing early Wednesday, dropping Rs 2,500 below its standard Rs 5,499 sticker price. That reduction brings entry-level streaming back into budget territory for people looking to smarten up older televisions without paying for higher-tier 4K streaming gear.
Kitchen appliances received equally sharp cuts. The Hisense 15 Place Settings Dishwasher was listed at Rs 31,590 on Wednesday, down from its regular Rs 51,990 price tag. That marks a direct reduction of Rs 20,000 on the standalone appliance.
Buyers shopping for alternative capacities will find markdowns on domestic brands too. The IFB 14 Place Settings freestanding dishwasher, equipped with the company's DeepClean technology, was listed at Rs 42,790 instead of its original Rs 49,990 retail figure when Gadgets 360 tracked the listings. Additional dishwashers from manufacturers including Bosch, Hafele, and Midea are also carrying price drops during the festival promotion.
For cooling, Amazon introduced reductions across window air conditioners from brands such as Panasonic, Voltas, Blue Star, and Lloyd. The storefront has paired these listings with standard exchange programs, letting buyers trade in used appliances to offset baseline sticker costs, though exact trade-in values depend on the age and condition of the returned unit.
Payment incentives trim the totals further. Shoppers paying with State Bank of India debit or credit cards — including SBI credit card equated monthly instalment plans, can claim an instant discount of 10 percent, capped at up to Rs 57,750 on qualifying purchases. Customers using an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card receive 5 percent cashback on their orders instead.
Installation fees, standard warranty terms, and energy efficiency ratings vary by product, so checking individual unit specifications remains necessary before checking out. Amazon has not published a formal closing date for the festival discounts.
