Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2 is $42.99 on Amazon — its lowest price yet, and the first discount since launch. The digital version dropped from $50 to $42.99, a 14% cut, and the deal activates only after adding it to cart. It’s still full price at the Nintendo eShop.
No physical edition is mentioned in the report. This is not a pre-order deal, those $10 offers ended months ago. It’s a live, limited-time markdown on a first-party Switch 2 exclusive released in 2026. The game is a ground-up remake of the Nintendo 64 classic.
It includes upgraded visuals, new cinematics, amiibo support, character avatars, AR filters (Fox ears, sunglasses, helmets), and optional mouse controls for two-player co-op. Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Switch 2 remake, also released this year, sold out at Amazon, no discount there. Star Fox is now the only Switch 2 first-party title confirmed to be discounted outside pre-order.
