Monday brought a collection of markdowns across Apple hardware and iOS software, spanning desktop machines, portable audio, and classic mobile ports.
According to tracking by 9to5Toys published on Monday, October 12, Amazon listed AirPods Pro 3 with a $50 markdown. Over-ear AirPods Max 2 were spotted with an even steeper reduction, down $120 from their standard pricing. Official Apple iPhone cases also saw varied price cuts across retail listings on Monday morning.
Buyers looking for macOS hardware saw some of the biggest nominal savings. A 24GB memory configuration of the M5 Pro MacBook Pro was discounted by $600 when 9to5Toys tracked it. For desktop buyers, the M6 Mac mini showed up at a $150 discount, matching prior record pricing before stock adjustments.
Mobile gaming purchases were similarly cut on the iOS App Store. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney dropped to $0.50, slashed from its regular $1 sticker price. Several other prominent iOS titles also landed in Monday's discount pool, including Capcom's Mega Man X, 505 Games' sandbox survival title Terraria, and strategy release Northgard. Amanita Design also saw discounts across multiple adventure titles on Apple's mobile platform, including Botanicula, Chuchel, and Samorost 3.
Digital app storefront discounts typically move without prior announcement and can revert within days or hours. Hardware price swings at online retailers like Amazon frequently mirror inventory shifts, meaning published prices reflect snapshot listings rather than permanent reductions.
