Amazon is holding a pre-order discount on the next-generation Apple TV 4K, and it's arriving faster than if you ordered straight from Apple. That's the headline from 9to5Toys's weekly roundup of deals, published Friday, which flagged the retailer's offer as one still worth locking in before shipping windows get worse.
The site didn't publish a specific dollar figure for the Apple TV 4K markdown, but it repeated the same warning across the roundup: order now, because Apple's own delivery estimates for the device have started slipping into December. Amazon, by contrast, is reportedly still promising day-one delivery on the same pre-order. For anyone who wants the new box in hand when it actually launches rather than weeks later, that's the practical difference.
The Apple TV 4K wasn't the only Apple hardware getting cut this week. The 13-inch MacBook Air with an M5 chip and 24GB of memory dropped back to its Prime Day price at $200 off, available across all colors. A 36GB M5 Max MacBook Pro configuration hit a reported $900 off at Amazon, which 9to5Toys called an all-time low for that build. Apple's new Mac Studio and the M6 Mac mini were both listed at up to $200 off, with the Mac mini separately noted at nearly $150 off.
AirPods Pro 3 were down $50, continuing a discount that's been running for a stretch rather than a one-day flash sale. Apple Watch Ultra 3 in black saw what the roundup called a 'giant clearance deal' of nearly $300 off, also pegged as an Amazon all-time low. Apple's refurbished store had the MacBook Neo listed $120 under its usual list price, with the standard refurb warranty attached. The new HomePod mini 2 opened for pre-order this week too, with Best Buy offering double rewards points to members who buy in.
Outside Apple's lineup, Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra was listed at $420 off at Amazon in what the site described as brand-new condition, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 was discounted as much as $570 at Best Buy on an 'excellent' open-box unit, with the 512GB model reported up to $580 off separately. Google's Pixel Watch 5 came in $100 off, or $150 off in open-box condition. Pixel 11 Pro Fold hit a reported $419 off on an open-box unit at Best Buy.
On the cheaper end, Amazon's own Fire TV Stick 4K returned to its $30 all-time low, a 50% cut from list price. Lenovo's 2025 Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 with a 2K touchscreen was down 40% to $379 against a $629 regular price, in what was flagged as a one-day offer.
None of these prices are locked in for long. 9to5Toys itself noted that figures are subject to change at any time, and retailers routinely pull pre-order incentives once initial stock allocations run out. Anyone eyeing the Apple TV 4K discount in particular should expect the gap between Amazon's and Apple's delivery dates to matter more as the actual release date gets closer.
