Amazon's autumn shopping promotion enters its closing stretch before wrapping up at 3:00 AM ET on Thursday, October 8. As the Prime Big Deal Days window shuts, price reductions have broadened across competing American storefronts, with Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Costco matching multiple flagship markdowns.
Handsets from Google and Apple anchor the second day of reductions. The 256GB edition of Google's Pixel 11, which launched at $899, was listed with a $150 discount when The Verge reported the listings on Wednesday morning. That cut positions the standard phone as the least expensive route into Google's latest software suite. The larger variant of the Pixel 11 Pro saw comparable reductions, dropping to $300 below the entry price of an iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the standard Pixel 11 Pro also received promotional pricing aimed at highlighting its HiLight LED camera hardware.
Discounts also touched Apple's ecosystem. Amazon cut prices on the latest Apple Watch release alongside markdowns on Apple's premium over-ear headphones. The 5.6mm iPhone Air, built around a 6.5-inch ProMotion display and a 48MP fusion sensor, joined the promotional lists alongside the $599 iPhone 16E. On the desktop side, Apple's updated Mac Mini equipped with the M6 processor received price cuts, bringing down the entry fee for silicon that runs roughly 20 percent faster than the earlier M4 revision.
Foldables, Audio, and Home Streaming
Android alternatives saw matching activity. Samsung raised retail pricing across the Galaxy S26 family earlier this season, but Amazon marked down the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the standard Galaxy S26 for the event. Samsung's book-style Galaxy Z Fold 8 received what was listed as its steepest promotional drop to date. Costco members saw similar aggressive cuts on gaming portables, where the retailer lowered the price on Lenovo's Legion Go 2 handheld.
Living room audio and streaming hardware also took markdown slots across Wednesday's catalog. Roku discounted its Pro 4K TV, which packs a 120Hz refresh panel, four HDMI inputs, and full-array local dimming. The company also dropped prices on its Streaming Stick Plus and the Roku Ultra streamer, which bundles ethernet, AirPlay 2 support, and a rechargeable backlit voice remote.
On the audio front, Sonos cut pricing on the Sub 4 and the compact Beam soundbar. Bose discounted both its standard QuietComfort over-ears and its flagship wireless headphones. For portable power, Anker marked down its 25,000mAh external battery, which outputs up to 165W across built-in retractable cables. Amazon closed out the round by trimming the price on its 11-inch Kindle Scribe Colorsoft e-reader before the promotional window closes overnight.
