If you've been waiting for the Pixel Watch 5 to actually get cheap, Thursday brought the closest thing yet, with a catch. Best Buy is listing open-box "excellent condition" 45mm models at more than $100 off, with some configurations cut by as much as $108, according to 9to5Google's deals desk. Brand-new units, though, are still sitting at full price at both Amazon and Best Buy.
That makes this an open-box deal, not a blanket price cut on Google's smartwatch. Worth knowing if you're comparing it against a fresh Pixel Watch 5 or weighing it against a Galaxy Watch 9, since open-box stock is limited and condition varies by unit.
For context, the best discount the Pixel Watch 5 saw during the recent fall Prime Day sale topped out at $65 off, and that was mostly reserved for the standard and most popular configurations. Those Prime Day prices dipped a little further partway through the sale before climbing back up. Based on past pricing patterns, 9to5Google expects Black Friday to bring standard models down to roughly $70 off and LTE variants to around $100 off, though that's a projection, not a confirmed price.

The same Lunch Break roundup flagged a handful of other notable discounts. TCL's 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G, an unlocked Android phone, is down to $199.99 shipped on Amazon after clipping an on-page coupon, against a regular price of $250. It's not a flagship by any stretch, but its 6.8-inch 120Hz NXTPAPER display is the draw: TCL says the anti-glare panel cuts blue light by up to 61% and offers four reading-friendly display modes through a dedicated button, aimed at easing eye strain over long sessions.
Anker's new Nano 10-in-1 Smart Display Hub, which debuted at IFA this year at $100, is down to $79.99 on Amazon in both Iron Gray and Starlight Silver, a touch above the price it briefly hit during last week's fall Prime Day sale. The limited Valorant Edition stays at its full $110. The hub packs HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs capable of a single 4K 144Hz display or dual 2K 240Hz monitors, a 100W PD input with up to 80W pass-through charging, 10Gb/s USB-C and USB-A ports, a pair of 5Gb/s USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and both SD and microSD slots. Anker's companion Nano Neo 45W/60W charger is listed at $20, and a TP-Link portable router is down to $45.
Elsewhere, Amazon is throwing in a free $200 gift card with Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S12+, though the retailer doesn't appear to be carrying the larger Tab S12 Ultra at all. Samsung's own store is still running trade-in offers worth up to $550 off the lineup, which launched just last week.
None of these prices are guaranteed to hold. As always with retailer deals, what's live Thursday afternoon can shift by the weekend, especially with Black Friday now less than six weeks out.
