HP Omnibook X Flip 2-in-1 drops to $1,199.99 at Best Buy — a 25% discount on the 16-inch 2K OLED model with Ryzen AI 7 445, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. No Black Friday wait required. The deal is live now, per Windows Central’s 20 October report, and it’s framed not as a flash sale, but as a hedge against rising component costs and potential price hikes before November.
This isn’t a budget machine. It’s a premium hybrid: convertible between laptop, tent, reverse, and tablet modes. Built around AMD’s latest AI-focused silicon. And packing a 50 TOPS NPU for local AI workloads like real-time translation, background blur, or document summarization, all without cloud dependency.
The 16-inch 2K OLED touchscreen hits 100% DCI-P3 and adapts between 48Hz and 120Hz, making it unusually capable for creative workflows or media consumption. Battery life is rated at 15 hours, a claim Windows Central attributes to HP’s official spec sheet, not lab testing. But it’s not a gaming rig.
