Best Buy is taking pre-orders on Apple's just-announced PROLED XDR MacBook Pro lineup and the iPad mini 8, sweetening both with store credit. The MacBook Pro configurations carry a $100 Best Buy e-gift card. The iPad mini 8 gets $50. Neither offer requires a My Best Buy Plus or Total membership — a change from past promotions that gated the best deals behind the paid tier.
The 14-inch PROLED XDR MacBook Pro starts at $2,899. The 16-inch starts at $3,399. Orders placed now will arrive on or shortly after the official launch date of Friday, November 6. Some configurations will also be available for in-store pickup that day.
Amazon has most of the same MacBook Pro configurations up for pre-order as well, but without any discount or bonus credit attached. The iPad mini 8 lists at $699 for the 128 GB Wi-Fi model. Best Buy advertises a trade-in price of $399 with a qualifying device. Separately, Best Buy is also running a $100 gift-card offer on the M6 MacBook Pro, a different model line, which starts at $1,999 for a 16 GB / 1 TB configuration.
That same trade-in program drops the out-of-pocket cost to $639 with an eligible device. All three products are available to order now. The PROLED XDR MacBook Pro and iPad mini 8 land in hands the first week of November.
