Google has folded Antigravity — its agent-first development platform, directly into the Gemini app for macOS, as part of the Gemini 4 Argon rollout announced today. The integration is live now for users on the latest version of the app. No separate download required. Just a Liquid Glass pill in the top-right corner. Tap it, and you’re in the full Antigravity environment, identical to the standalone app launched earlier this year. Exit with the same button. Same interface. Same capabilities. Just no second app to manage. Antigravity 2.0 debuted at I/O 2026. Since May, Google has pushed major updates weekly, sometimes faster. It runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, and most recently Googlebook (Android). Now it’s native to Gemini on macOS. Access isn’t universal. You need Gemini AI Pro or higher to run Gemini 4 Argon. But Antigravity itself? That’s gated behind AI Ultra. Google’s top-tier subscription tier. No mention of pricing or regional variations in the sources. The rest of the macOS app got a structural overhaul too. The old /-command system for Skills is gone. Now it’s @-mentions, same syntax as Slack or Discord. The side panel’s “Customize” section now houses both Skills and Connectors (the new name for Connected Apps). The navigation drawer has been rebuilt. Search moved to the top-right corner of that panel. And Gemini Spark is officially renamed “Task”, with a new switcher below the prompt box. A new Scheduled view surfaces both Task items and scheduled actions in one place. This is not a mobile update. No Android or iOS changes are mentioned in either source. The story belongs in desktop software. Not mobiles. What happens next? Antigravity remains a macOS-only embedded experience for now. No word on when (or if) it’ll land inside Gemini on Windows or Linux. And no indication that Googlebook’s Android version will absorb it. For now, it’s a macOS-only consolidation, tightening the loop between coding agents and conversational AI, but only for those paying for AI Ultra. Update your Gemini app. Then look for the pill.
