Rockstar has not confirmed it, but a GameStop in Pennsylvania is telling customers that pre-orders of GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox will include a physical paper map of the game’s Leonida setting — alongside the Vintage Vice City cosmetic pack. The notice, photographed and shared by Redditor Small_Masterpiece892, says buyers can pick up their copy a week before the official November 19, 2026 release date. It does not say whether the map applies to Standard or only Ultimate Edition pre-orders, though the sign references the Ultimate Edition DLC, which is store-exclusive to PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, not physical retail boxes. That inconsistency has fans questioning whether the sign reflects official policy or local speculation. Still, multiple GameStop locations have reportedly told callers to expect a map, according to Notebookcheck’s reporting. Rockstar has shipped physical maps with every mainline GTA since 1997. Including GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V, and even included one with Red Dead Redemption 2. This time, however, there are no PS5 or Xbox discs. The entire game is digital-only. So if a map arrives at all, it’ll be the only tangible item inside the box. Unless you pay $400 for the Collector’s Box, which does include a dual-sided poster of Leonida (though Rockstar scrubbed region labels from an early version uploaded online). The Standard Edition price isn’t stated in the source. The Ultimate Edition’s price and availability remain unconfirmed outside of digital storefronts. No retailer has announced a physical map for PC pre-orders. Rockstar has not commented on the GameStop notice. Pre-orders open October 15.
