GTA 6 launches with 55 PlayStation trophies and Xbox achievements — more than GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2 had at release. That’s the figure confirmed by two independent dataminers: TexFunz2 for Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation Game Size for PS5. Both totals are identical. All 55 are solo-oriented.

None are tied to multiplayer, not even a single one. That’s new for Rockstar. And one Xbox achievement carries a 1000-point value, marking it as a ‘mythic’ tier, a designation previously reserved for first-party Microsoft titles like Gears of War: E-Day and unseen in third-party releases until now. It sits alongside the PS5’s platinum trophy as the ultimate completionist milestone, but unlike that platinum, it’s baked into day-one code.

No post-launch patch required. No DLC gate. Just 55 objectives, all available when the game ships. The leak does not name any of them.

It does not reveal the release date. It does not confirm which platforms get which trophies or achievements beyond PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. But it does confirm this: Rockstar is treating the launch slate like a full, self-contained campaign, not a placeholder for later expansion. That tracks with co-studio lead Rob Nelson’s earlier comment that the main story plus select side content clocks in at roughly 80 gameplay hours.

Leonida, the game’s fictional Florida-inspired setting, is larger than any prior Rockstar open world. More map means more things to do. More things to do means more trophies. Simple math.

GTA 5 launched with 49 Xbox 360 achievements and 50 PS3 trophies, and only added one more on each platform in the next-gen re-releases. Red Dead Redemption 2 shipped with 51 Xbox One achievements and 52 PS4 trophies, including its platinum, but many required online interaction or were locked behind RDO-specific mechanics.

GTA 6’s 55 are all single-player. All day-one. All confirmed via internal trophy/achievement lists pulled from build files, not speculation, not rumor, not a retailer listing. What comes after?

A GTA Online follow-up is all but guaranteed, Rockstar has done it twice before, and with it will come more trophies. But those won’t count toward the platinum or the mythic achievement. Those 55 stand alone. They’re the benchmark.

They’re what players will grind toward the moment the game unlocks. And they’re already live in the code.
