Honor opened reservations for the Honor WIN 2 on its Chinese web store ahead of a full reveal set for October 21 at 14:30 GMT+8. Shoppers can lock in a reservation with a CNY 100 deposit, roughly $14, with remaining balances due once official pricing drops during the event.
Gaming phones rarely show restraint, and Honor's cooling setup takes that philosophy to an extreme. While the original WIN carried a single internal fan, the WIN 2 doubles down with two separate blowers inside the chassis. Official teaser posters show a vertical cross-flow fan spinning at up to 20,000 RPM alongside a side fan that tops out at 31,000 RPM. Honor claims the combination increases total airflow by 284 percent over the previous model, dropping chassis temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius within 50 seconds in internal lab testing. The design also received a cooling certification from SGS.
Honor has not spelled out every internal spec on its store listing, but Weibo tipster Gaoji Asen published what appears to be the full hardware sheet. The phone is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, Qualcomm's top-tier silicon tier. That processor will reportedly drive a flat 6.89-inch 2K OLED panel with a 185Hz refresh rate, paired with dual 1216 stereo speakers.
Power comes from an enormous 10,100mAh battery, a tiny bump over the 10,000mAh pack seen in the original WIN from December 2025. Charging speeds are pegged at 100W over USB-C and 80W on compatible wireless pads.
Honor lists five memory configurations for the Chinese market: 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage, and 16GB of RAM with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of onboard space. Buyers can pick from Black, White, and a dual-tone Red Blue Buff finish. Early reservations come with a WIN 2.0 gift box, up to 12 interest-free installments, and trade-in credits reaching up to CNY 1,200.
Cameras look streamlined this round. While the first WIN offered three rear lenses, official teasers show only two cutouts on the WIN 2. Leaks suggest Honor swapped in a 200MP Samsung S5KHPE main sensor measuring 1/1.4-inch across, accompanied by a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide lens. Selfies rely on a 50MP Sony IMX816 sensor up front.
There is no word on whether the WIN 2 will make it outside mainland China. The first generation remained a domestic exclusive, so interested players overseas will probably have to rely on grey-market importers once units ship after next week's event.
