IOS 27.2 beta 3 is out — and it brings back Suggested Actions in Messages, this time with granular on/off switches for each type of suggestion. The feature, which briefly appeared in iOS 27 betas before vanishing from the final release, lets Messages offer one-tap actions like Add to Calendar, Show in Maps, Add to Reminders, Add to Notes, and Flights and Packages, all context-aware and triggered by message content. Now, users can disable any or all of them individually via a new settings screen buried in Messages > Settings > Suggested Actions. A separate toggle. Hide Unused Suggestions, will auto-suppress suggestions unused for 30 days. Those can be restored manually by flipping their individual switches off and back on. Code explorer pdfu spotted the controls in beta 3 and shared a screenshot confirming the UI layout and behaviour. Apple has not announced a public release date, but MacRumors notes iOS 27.2 is expected shortly after the iPhone Duo launches on October 23. And that the new Siri AI language support promised for iOS 27.2 is also slated for October. IOS 27.2 beta 3 is available to registered developers and Apple Beta Software Program members. No public release window has been confirmed.
