The iPhone Duo’s A20 Pro chip has been benchmarked ahead of its October 16 pre-order launch — and it matches the iPhone 18 Pro’s CPU and GPU core count, clock speeds, and Geekbench 7 scores almost exactly. The test unit (model identifier iPhone19,4) scored 3986 single-core and 11067 multi-core on Geekbench 7, running iOS 27.1. That lines up with multiple published benchmarks for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, both of which also use Apple’s 2nm A20 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and 7-core GPU. The Duo’s listing shows 11.30GB memory, confirming 12GB of RAM. Same as the 18 Pro line. Apple claims the A20 Pro delivers up to 20% faster CPU performance and up to 40% faster GPU performance over the A19 Pro, though GPU-specific benchmarks weren’t shared in this test. Thermal tuning, dual-screen power draw, and software optimization could still create real-world differences, but on paper, the Duo isn’t a cut below the Pro. Pre-orders open Thursday, October 16. The device ships globally on October 23. No pricing was disclosed in the benchmark report.
