Apple’s iPhone Duo is now officially up for pre-order — and AT&T has already dropped its first deals. The $2,000 foldable starts at $800 with a qualifying trade-in, the carrier confirmed Wednesday evening. That’s a $1,200 discount, available to both new and existing customers. Online orders also get an extra $200 off per line, meaning a single-line purchase could land at $600, assuming full eligibility. No other carrier or retailer has announced pricing or promotions yet. The iPhone Duo was unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 series in September but ships a month later. So pre-orders open this week, with actual delivery expected in early November. Android Authority reported the AT&T details at 7:13 p.m. ET on October 9, just 34 minutes before this filing. The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable. It competes directly with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8, which launched earlier this year at $1,919.99 in the US and Rs 1,59,999 in India. Apple has not yet announced Indian pricing or availability. Nor has it confirmed specs beyond what was shown in the September keynote: dual-screen design, titanium frame, and iOS 26 optimized for folding. No battery capacity, processor name, or camera configuration has been officially disclosed. The ‘iPhone Duo’ name appears in all official Apple communications. Not ‘iPhone 18 Fold’ or ‘iPhone Fold’. And yes, people are searching for ‘iphone duo pre order’ and ‘iphone duo price’. They’ll find this. Pre-orders go live imminently. Shipping begins November 4.
