Amazon marked down the Lego set featuring Derpy and Sussie from Kpop Demon Hunters to $56 when IGN reported the deal on Thursday, October 8. That cuts $13.99 off its standard $69.99 retail tag, translating to a 20 percent discount on the construction kit.
The reduction came shortly after Amazon wrapped up its Prime Big Deal Days promotional blitz. Unlike many sales rolled out during that mid-week rush, this markdown did not require a paid Amazon Prime subscription. Anyone shopping on the site could check out at the reduced price, representing the lowest figure the retailer has offered since the kit hit store shelves in August.
Geared toward builders aged 9 and older, the box contains 825 components designed to assemble large display editions of the film's two companion creatures. The models rely on articulated connections rather than fixed stances. Derpy the tiger features poseable paws, legs, and neck joints, letting owners position the character in multiple stances. Builders can also customize his facial expression, swapping between a broad grin and a look where he carries a small paper letter directly on his tongue.
Sussie the bird gets a similar level of articulation, with adjustability built into her neck joints and feet. Lego skipped traditional minifigures for this package, focusing entirely on scaling the two main animal characters. The company packed in a small handful of display extras alongside the creatures, including two separate message tiles and an buildable flowerpot meant to be tipped on its side.
The project marks the initial wave of building kits tied to the animated project. When Lego initially previewed the characters earlier in the year, it confirmed that further builds centered on Kpop Demon Hunters are scheduled to arrive on store shelves during 2027.
Post-sale rollouts often see inventory fluctuate rapidly as retailers clean up leftover promotional volumes. Amazon listed the set at $56 with open availability for all accounts, though pricing on individual toy lines routinely returns to standard manufacturer suggestions once baseline stock levels shift.
