Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Expansion Pack can now play Metal Slug Advance, Monster Rancher Advance, and Kururin Paradise — three Game Boy Advance titles added to the service today. All three are live as of October 14, 2026, on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. They’re accessible through the Game Boy Advance Nintendo Classics app, which requires an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. No new subscription tier or price change accompanies the update. The Expansion Pack remains $49.99 per year in the US and ₹4,999 per year in India. In the UK, it’s £34.99 annually. Nintendo of America confirmed the addition via X and released a trailer showcasing gameplay from all three games. Metal Slug Advance is SNK’s 2004 run-and-gun shooter, the first Metal Slug on GBA. Monster Rancher Advance launched in Japan in December 2001 and reached North America in 2002. It’s a life-sim where players raise and battle digital creatures. Kururin Paradise, developed by Eighting and released only in Japan in 2002, is a puzzle game built around rotating stick-like characters through tight mazes. Its global debut outside Japan arrives now. Via Switch Online, for North America and Europe. This marks the third GBA addition this year: Mario vs. Donkey Kong arrived in March, Dr. Mario & Puzzle League in July, and three NES/Famicom titles followed in September. Game Boy Advance support has been part of the Expansion Pack since February 2023, alongside Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive libraries. No release date has been announced for further GBA titles. But Nintendo typically adds them in batches, often timed to holidays or anniversaries. Next batch expected before year-end.
Nintendo Switch 2 games: Three GBA titles added to Switch Online, including Kururin Palace
