Ricoh GR IV is back in stock at B&H Photo and Adorama — for now. The compact street shooter, long sold out across US retailers, has reappeared in all three variants: standard, Monochrome, and HDF. Each carries its original retail price: $1,599.95 for the GR IV, with matching pricing for the Monochrome and HDF editions. Amazon also lists all three, though DPReview notes availability there is less consistent than at the two brick-and-mortar–aligned outlets. This restock follows months of scarcity, a pattern familiar to GR buyers since the GR IIIx’s launch in 2023. And yes, Ricoh has already confirmed a follow-up: the GR IVx, swapping the 28mm-equivalent lens for a 40mm one, arrives before year’s end. No price or exact date has been announced. But if history holds, it’ll sell out faster than it ships. Also arriving this month: a limited GR IV Anniversary Edition, capped at 6,000 units. No pricing or spec differences were disclosed beyond the ‘anniversary’ branding. The GR IV remains unchanged from its 2024 launch. 24MP APS-C sensor, fixed 28mm f/2.8 lens, 3-inch touchscreen, and that famously minimal, pocketable body. It’s not a camera for everyone. It’s for people who still carry a dedicated device just to shoot exactly how they want, no compromises, no modes, no AI scene detection. Just shutter, focus, and film simulation. That niche hasn’t grown. But its loyalty has. B&H and Adorama listings went live on October 7. How long they stay up? Ricoh doesn’t say. Neither does B&H.
Ricoh GR IV Restock: Where to Buy Now (US)
The cult-favorite Ricoh GR IV is briefly available again — all three versions, at full price, with no clear window on how long it’ll last.
