Samsung Galaxy Fit 4 could bring NFC payments to budget fitness bands — a feature absent from every major competitor launched in 2026. According to SamMobile, the upcoming tracker may support Samsung Wallet via NFC, letting users tap to pay at supported retail terminals. That claim isn’t confirmed on hardware yet.
But the Galaxy Fit4 Manager app is already live in the Galaxy Store, and one of its screenshots shows a ‘Wallet’ option at the very bottom of the interface. SamMobile interprets that as strong evidence the feature will ship, even if Samsung hasn’t officially announced it. If true, it would be a first for the Galaxy Fit line and a rarity among fitness trackers.
Google’s new Fitbit Air ($100) and Fitbit Edge ($180) both lack NFC. So does Garmin’s CIRQA ($200), which also omits Garmin Pay support entirely. Android Police calls that a ‘missed opportunity’, especially now, with cashless transactions becoming standard across more retail environments. Ten years ago, leaving out NFC might have felt normal.
