Vivo Y32 5G launches globally with 8,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, and IP69 rating — no price or availability yet. It’s the first Vivo phone to carry both IP68 and IP69 certifications, and the first in the Y-series to ship with a Qualcomm chip instead of Unisoc. The device is already listed on Vivo’s official Indian and global sites, but without pricing or an on-sale date.
That makes it a live listing, not a pre-order, not a teaser, just a product page waiting for numbers and timing. Expect those details within days, not weeks, given how close the launch is to the listing date (November 2). The Y32 5G is built for endurance: 8,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, 7.5W reverse charging, and a claim of over 80% battery health after 1,500 full cycles.
It sits between the 10,000mAh Vivo Y600 and the older 4G Y32, which used a Unisoc T612 and launched last month. Under the hood: Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 on 4nm, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, microSD expansion up to 2TB, and up to 6GB of virtual RAM. The display is a 6.87-inch HD+ LCD (1592 × 720), 120Hz, 1,300 nits peak brightness, with TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
Cameras: 50MP main + 2MP depth, 8MP front. Build includes MIL-STD-810H and SGS five-star drop resistance, plus that rare dual IP68/IP69 seal, meaning it’s dust-tight and rated against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Software runs OriginOS 6 on Android 16, with stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Colors: Dawn Gold and Midnight Black. This isn’t a flagship play. It’s Vivo doubling down on the budget durability niche, where ‘snapdragon pho’ searches suggest users are actively comparing entry-level Qualcomm options. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 gives it better 5G modem integration and long-term update potential than the Unisoc-powered Y32 4G.
But the HD+ resolution and LCD panel will stand out next to rivals like the Motorola Moto G47 Power, which also pushes battery (7,000mAh) and keeps the headphone jack, but ships on Android 16 too. Vivo hasn’t confirmed regional pricing. No US listing exists yet. India remains the likeliest first market, given the site’s localized pages and Vivo’s recent push there with the Y600.
When numbers drop, they’ll land in rupees first. Until then, the Y32 5G is live, spec’d, sealed, and waiting.
