The Erazer U126 is live in China — a 12.6-inch 2.5K AMOLED tablet with Windows 11 and Android 16 dual-boot, Intel Core Ultra 5 115U, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. No DisplayPort support is listed. No ThinkPad branding. No global pricing or launch date announced.
Just two SKUs on sale now in China: one with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD at ¥3,999, another with 12GB RAM and 1TB SSD at ¥4,799. That’s roughly $550 and $660 at current exchange rates, but Lenovo hasn’t confirmed those conversions, and the prices are strictly for the Chinese market.
The device does not appear in Lenovo’s official ThinkPad lineup, nor in any Lenovo Support documentation cited by sources. It’s an Erazer-branded product, Medion’s gaming sub-brand, owned by Lenovo Group, but operating independently here. So while it shares DNA with ThinkPad detachables like the X12 Gen 2, it’s not a ThinkPad.
And it’s not a ThinkPad X12 replacement. It’s something else entirely: a dual-OS tablet that boots into either Windows or Android without rebooting, at least, that’s what Erazer claims. How it pulls that off remains unexplained. The Type-C port supports external displays, but no resolution, refresh rate or DisplayPort version is specified.
No mention of DisplayPort Alt Mode, HDMI output, or MST daisy-chaining. Just ‘supports external displays’. The battery is 3,500mAh (40.425Wh), charging via 65W PD. Weight: 760g without keyboard.
Dimensions: 286.13 × 184.29 × 8.5mm. Full-metal body. 60Hz AMOLED panel, 2,560 × 1,600, 450 nits peak brightness. Front camera: 5MP. Rear camera: unspecified.
Speakers: two 1W units. Wi-Fi: dual-band. Bluetooth: 5.0. Keyboard: magnetic, backlit, detachable.
A 16GB/1TB configuration appears in the listing, but no price attached. International availability? Not confirmed. US or Indian pricing?
Not disclosed. Lenovo Support pages do not yet list the U126. ThinkPad support channels won’t cover it. This is a China-only launch, for now.
And it’s not about DisplayPort. It’s about running Android 16 and Windows side-by-side on a single slab of metal. That’s the headline. Everything else is detail.
