Apple issued the third public beta of iOS 27.2 on Tuesday, opening up its overhauled Health interface and expanded language tools to registered testers. The software drop rolled out alongside companion public beta builds for iPadOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2. All four builds arrived just hours after Apple pushed developer-tier equivalents through its testing pipeline earlier in the day.
The centerpiece of iOS 27.2 is the reworked Health app, which Apple first announced during its September iPhone event. The revamped application rearranges core tracking tools and introduces dedicated Insights and Longevity tabs. Both sections focus on organizing personal fitness records over time, sorting movement trends and physical readings into broader lifestyle summaries rather than isolated daily snapshots.
Inside that updated framework sits Health Age, a feature designed to calculate an estimate of your biological fitness level against your actual chronological age. By measuring fitness statistics and health metrics logged on the device, the software attempts to show whether your physical condition mirrors someone younger or older than your actual birth year.
Beyond the fitness tracking changes, Apple broadened regional language options for Siri AI. The updated assistant now supports French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. That expansion brings broader international functionality to Apple's newer voice system across European, Asian, and Latin American territories where users had been waiting on native language support.
The Apple TV app also picks up revisions in this build. Testers running the new beta will find updated profile options, helping households manage personalized recommendations, queues, and watch histories more cleanly when multiple family members share the same television display.
Gaining access requires an active enrollment on Apple's dedicated beta testing website. Once signed in with an Apple account, users can trigger the download directly from the Software Update menu located inside the Settings app on a compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch.
Prerelease software always carries predictable baggage. Early test builds routinely trigger sudden battery drain, unexpected background crashes, and odd interface glitches that make them risky on a primary phone or computer. Apple has not yet attached an official rollout date for the finished, public version of iOS 27.2, but issuing a third beta round signals that the release cycle is moving steadily toward completion.
