Asus ProArt P16 RTX Spark launches globally with Nvidia’s new N1X SoC — $7,000 for 128GB RAM config, 1.78kg chassis, 4K tandem OLED display. Available now.  The ProArt P16 RTX Spark is the first laptop confirmed to ship with Nvidia’s RTX Spark N1X system-on-chip, a chip designed specifically for local AI workloads and high-end creative tasks, not gaming. Asus has built it into a redesigned aluminum chassis that weighs 1.78 kg, making it lighter than the MacBook Pro 16 by more than 300 grams. It’s also thinner than last year’s ProArt P16 models, though Notebookcheck does not specify exact thickness or dimensions.  The display carries over unchanged: a 4K tandem OLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate, high brightness, factory-calibrated color accuracy, and improved PWM frequency to reduce eye strain. That screen remains one of the best available in any laptop today.  Performance-wise, the N1X SoC matches the GPU output of last year’s RTX 5070-equipped ProArt P16. But falls short of the RTX 5090 version, which still holds the edge for gaming and heavy real-time rendering. The N1X is tuned for AI inference, video encoding acceleration, and generative media workflows, not frame rates.  Battery life clocks in under 10 hours in Wi-Fi browsing tests. Notebookcheck calls that a trade-off for the display’s power draw. Not a flaw, but an expected limitation. Under load, fan noise hits ~50 dB(A). At idle or light use, it stays quiet.  Keyboard, trackpad, and speakers all earn praise: no compromises on input or audio quality despite the slim profile.  Pricing starts high. A configuration with 128 GB of RAM is listed at $7,000. Notebookcheck does not disclose base-model pricing or other configurations. No Indian price is mentioned in the source.  This isn’t a mainstream machine. It targets professional creators running local LLMs, AI video tools, or high-bitrate color grading, people who need desktop-class silicon in something they can carry daily. It arrives just as Nvidia pushes deeper into workstation-class AI silicon, and as Apple’s M5 MacBooks begin shipping with competing on-device AI features.  The ProArt P16 RTX Spark is available now. Notebookcheck published its review on October 19, 2026.
