Nikon's Z6III was listed at $2,196.95 at US retailer B&H Photo on Tuesday morning, taking $300 off its standard sticker price when Wired reported the discount on October 13, 2026.
The mirrorless price drops extend well past that single Nikon body. Photographers checking B&H found the retro-styled Nikon Zf listed at $200 off its usual figure, while the flagship-tier Nikon Z8 shed $600 from its regular price. Outside Nikon's ecosystem, Sony's high-resolution a7R V full-frame mirrorless camera was listed at a $400 markdown. Action camera shoppers also saw movement, with the GoPro Hero 13 marked down by $70.
All cited pricing reflects B&H Photo's direct web storefront in the US. The retailer pairs those hardware markdowns with standard freight terms that cover most domestic shoppers. Orders above $49 qualify for free expedited delivery across the contiguous 48 states. Even orders below that $49 benchmark generally ship with free standard dispatch throughout the lower mainland.
Beyond the immediate October markdowns, B&H runs several rolling programs for tech shoppers looking to cut upfront costs. Its rotating Deal Zone offers daily discounts that rotate across categories, covering accessories, computing gear like Lenovo tablets, and peripherals such as Logitech mice alongside camera bodies. For students holding active EDU email addresses, a dedicated campus portal adds storewide discounts and complimentary shipping privileges.
Financing and tax relief play a distinct role for high-ticket imaging gear. Shoppers using the company's Payboo credit card can offset state and local sales tax with an instant rebate up to 8.875% on orders sent to New York destinations. Buyers outside New York using the card can opt instead for interest-free financing plans, which span six months on transactions above $199 and twelve months for carts crossing $599, provided balances clear before promotional terms conclude.
The seller also maintains an active second-hand department where used equipment receives numerical ratings such as 8/10 or 9/10. Those pre-owned items undergo technician evaluation and ship with a 90-day parts and labor warranty, backed by a standard 30-day return window. Customers upgrading their kits can trade in working gear directly through the retailer.
B&H matches prices against primary authorized US competitors, including Adorama and Best Buy, for identical in-stock merchandise. While larger waves of savings typically peak around manufacturer promotional cycles and holiday dates like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents' Day, October's early hardware markdowns provide immediate options before peak retail schedules start.
