Headphones and earbuds are the easiest Black Friday win: every big brand discounts its whole range, and last year every model of AirPods was on sale at once. Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30. This guide gives you the prices reviewers recorded last Black Friday, so you can judge this year's offers, the first early deal already live, and the headphones and earbuds reviewers rate at each price.
Hitechreports does not test headphones. Every price below is one the linked outlet reported, on the date given. We will update this page as the 2026 deals land.
Last Black Friday's prices: the numbers to beat
Tom's Guide tracked headphone and earbud prices through Black Friday 2025 in a live deals blog. These were the lows it recorded. Many were the products' first ever discounts, which means they can fall further this year.
| Product | Black Friday 2025 price | Was | Tom's Guide's note |
|---|
| Sony WH-1000XM6 | $398 at Amazon | $459 | First discount, "de-facto lowest price ever" |
| Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (1st gen) | $289 at Amazon | $429 | "Their best saving yet" |
| Apple AirPods Max (USB-C) | $399 at Amazon | $549 | Lowest price ever |
| Sony WH-1000XM4 | $159 at Amazon | $349 | "Cheaper than ever" |
| Bose QuietComfort Headphones | $199 at Amazon | $349 | |
| Beats Studio Pro | $149 at Amazon | $349 | Lowest ever, 57% off |
| Sony WH-CH720N | $88 at Amazon | $179 | |
| JLab JBuds Lux ANC | $39 at Amazon | $79 | Lowest ever, light grey only |
| Apple AirPods Pro 3 | $219 at Amazon | $249 | Newest AirPods |
| Apple AirPods Pro 2 | $139 at Walmart | $249 | All-time low, stock clearance |
| Apple AirPods 4 with ANC | $99 at Amazon | $179 | |
| Apple AirPods 4 | $69 at Amazon | $129 | Lowest ever, selling out |
| Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd gen) | $216 at Amazon | $299 | |
| Sony WF-1000XM5 | $228 at Amazon | $329 | |
| Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro | $159 at Amazon | $249 | Lowest ever |
| Sony WF-C710N | $79 at Best Buy | $129 | |
| Bose QuietComfort Earbuds | $129 at Walmart | $179 | |
TechRadar's audio editor, who picks only deals on products she has reviewed, agreed on the big two: the Sony WH-1000XM6 at $60 off were "the cheapest they've ever been", and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd gen) saw "the first ever saving" on a set that, in her words, "basically walk all over anything else on the market for noise cancellation".
The first early deal of 2026
The AirPods Pro 3 are already $199 at Walmart, Yahoo Shopping reported on October 26, $20 below last Black Friday's price, with a warning that they tend to sell out in sale season. Apple has since launched the AirPods 5, which Amazon now lists alongside the Pro 3, so expect clearance prices on the older models this November.
Which headphones to buy on Black Friday 2026
From our reviewer-sourced list of the best noise-cancelling headphones of 2026, each pick backed by at least two outlets that tested it:
- Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen): top of our list. Last year the first-generation pair fell to $289; the second generation has yet to see a cut that deep. On Amazon.
- Sony WH-1000XM6: second on our list; $398 last year, and Tom's Guide expects "a whole host of great features" for that: 30 hours of battery and improved noise cancelling. On Amazon.
- Sony WH-CH720N: the budget pick on our list, $88 last year. On Amazon.
- Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3: the sound-first choice on our list. On Amazon.
- JLab JBuds Lux ANC: $39 last year. TechRadar calls the battery "unheard of for the level", up to 70 hours, or 44 with noise cancelling on. On Amazon.
Which earbuds to buy on Black Friday 2026
From our list of the best wireless earbuds of 2026:
- Apple AirPods Pro 3: top of our list, and already $199. TechRadar's caveat: "if you don't own an iPhone I don't recommend those, however good the deal". On Amazon.
- Technics EAH-AZ100: second on our list, the earbuds for people who care about sound first. On Amazon.
- Sony WF-1000XM6: new this year; the previous XM5 fell to $228 last Black Friday. Sony WF-1000XM6 on Amazon.
- Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen): $216 last year, and TechRadar's noise-cancelling champion. On Amazon.
- Sony WF-C710N: $79 last year, which Tom's Guide said "feels like theft" for "some of the best noise-canceling earbuds under $200". On Amazon.
- Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro: for Galaxy phones; last year's Buds 3 Pro hit $159. On Amazon.
- Sony WF-C510: the cheapest pick on our list. On Amazon.
How to tell a real headphones deal
- Last year's model gets the deep cut. The WH-1000XM4 at $159, the Bose QC Ultra first generation at $289 and the AirPods Pro 2 at $139 were the biggest savings of 2025. The current flagships got $50 to $60 off.
- "First discount" is not "record low". Tom's Guide called the XM6's $398 a de-facto low only because it had never been cut before; a year on, it should go lower.
- Check the colour. Several 2025 deals applied to one finish only: the JLab Lux in light grey, a Sony pair in blue, the Bose Ultra Open in three finishes.
- Apple features need an iPhone. Spatial audio, automatic switching and the AirPods Pro 3's hearing features work fully only with Apple devices, TechRadar notes.
- Compare with the table above, not with the "was" price in the listing.

What was the lowest price for the Sony WH-1000XM6? $398 at Amazon last Black Friday, their first discount.
Are the AirPods Pro 3 already on sale? Yes: $199 at Walmart as of October 26, 2026, per Yahoo Shopping.
