HP is marking 89 years in operation by putting several of its core personal computers on sale. The promotion spans thin-and-light productivity notebooks, all-in-one workstations, and dedicated hardware for buyers tracking down laptops for gaming.
Leading the standard portable lineup is the OmniBook 5. When PCMag tracked the promotion on Tuesday, HP had reduced the price of the machine by 45 percent against its original list figure. Configured with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, the notebook targets everyday office tasks and local productivity workloads. The build includes a backlit keyboard, a smooth touchpad, and an estimated battery runtime of roughly 13 hours under steady use.
Buyers looking for a convertible design will spot the OmniBook X Flip among the featured markdowns. The 2-in-1 machine was listed with a $530 price reduction on HP's storefront. It features a Core Ultra 7 silicon package paired with 16GB of system memory, housed inside an all-metal chassis with a 360-degree display hinge. Port options sit on both sides of the base, and connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7 along with Bluetooth 5.4. A 120Hz touch panel sits on the front for both stylus input and fast scrolling.
Dedicated Hardware for Players
Those comparing portable rigs will find the 16-inch HyperX Omen discounted on HP's store. The machine comes powered by a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 processor featuring an integrated neural processing unit rated at 13 trillion operations per second. Graphical grunt comes courtesy of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU driving a 2.5K resolution panel. The chassis features dedicated thermal routing, an RGB-lit keyboard array, and typical desktop-replacement weight.
Traditional desktop towers also appear throughout the catalog. The HP OmniStudio, an all-in-one desktop built around a 27-inch full HD display and an Intel Core Ultra 5 chip, was listed under $1,000 when PCMag logged the promotional pricing. The box bundles a desktop keyboard and mouse for standard home setups.
On the standalone tower side, the standard OmniDesk features an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G processor alongside a 1TB solid-state drive for local storage backups. Higher up the performance spectrum sits the HP Omen 35L desktop, which received a $2,000 price slash. That configuration arrives equipped with 64GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card inside an accessible chassis planned for tool-free component access.
Rounding out the promotion, HP trimmed $200 off its 144Hz 4K gaming monitor, which packs an IPS panel carrying more than 8 million pixels on an adjustable stand with height, tilt, and pivot flexibility. The sale remains live on HP's US online storefront while promotional inventory holds.
