Apple has seeded the fourth developer beta of iOS 27.2 to registered developers — and it’s the version that will ship to all iPhone users later this month, not iOS 27.1. That one is reserved exclusively for the iPhone Duo, which launches October 23. IOS 27.2 is required for HomeView, Apple’s new home dashboard app announced at the September event, and brings the redesigned Health app with Insights and Longevity tabs, plus Siri AI support in new languages launching in October. The update also includes watchOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 betas, but no tvOS 27.2 beta 4 yet. A public beta of iOS 27.2 launched last month. Developers can install the latest build via Settings > General > Software Update after enrolling in the Developer Program. No release date has been announced, but MacRumors notes iOS 27.2 is expected “shortly after” the iPhone Duo’s October 23 launch. IOS 27 itself rolled out to all compatible iPhones on September 14.
