iQOO's New 20,000mAh Power Banks Launch With 66W Charging in China

IQOO used its China launch event this week to introduce more than just the Pad Pro tablet and the Neo 12 phone. The company also rolled out two new power banks, both rated at 20,000mAh, that split on charging speed and little else.

The pricier of the two supports up to 66W fast charging and costs CNY 229, about $34. The other tops out at 33W and sells for CNY 189, roughly $28. Vivo has not said whether either version is headed to India or the US, so for now this is a China-only launch.

Both power banks share the same core design: a built-in USB-C cable with a woven exterior that Vivo says has been through unspecified durability testing, plus separate USB-A and Type-C ports. That means the bank can charge three devices at once, two through the extra ports and one through the attached cable.

On the charging-standard side, iQOO lists support for AVS, FlashCharge, PPS, PD 3.2 and QC 2.0, a spread wide enough to cover most phones, tablets and laptops on the market regardless of brand. There's also a small built-in display showing battery percentage, charging status and temperature warnings, though Vivo stops short of the richer screens found on rivals like the Anker 737 or the 20K Ugreen Nexode Pro.

Vivo's own math, cited by Notebookcheck, claims the 20,000mAh capacity is enough to recharge an iPhone 18 Pro three times over, an iQOO Pad Ultra 1.79 times, or what Vivo calls the MacBook Neo 1.31 times. Those are Vivo's figures for its own comparison devices, not independent measurements, so treat them as marketing math rather than lab results.

The company also says the power bank carries an airline-safe rating, which matters for anyone wanting to carry it through security without a fight at the gate.

For now, the power banks join the Pad Pro and Neo 12 as China-first products. IQOO has a track record of bringing select hardware to India under its own brand and occasionally to other markets through Vivo, so a wider release isn't out of the question. Nothing has been confirmed, though, and Hitechreports will update this story if iQOO announces pricing or availability outside China.
