Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have been on shelves long enough for case makers to catch up, and TechRadar has put together a roundup of nine options, with six detailed in depth as part of its October 29 review.
The list spans Apple's own accessory line up to specialty makers like Peak Design, and TechRadar's reviewer, who says they've tested hundreds of cases over the years, rated each on grip, drop protection and how well it plays with MagSafe.
The everyday options
Apple's Silicone Case with MagSafe came out as the safe pick, grippier in hand than most of the leather alternatives on the list and absorbent enough to cushion a fall, according to TechRadar. The downside: it picks up lint easily, and extended MagSafe charging can leave temporary ring marks on the back.
The ESR Atelier Silicone Leather Magnetic Case stood out for a built-in kickstand that wraps around the camera plateau and adjusts from 15 to 69 degrees. TechRadar called it sturdy at every angle, though it noted the stand stops short of a full 90 degrees.
Wave's MagSafe case, made from biodegradable wheat straw, was flagged as the greener choice on the list, ahead even of the vegan leather options elsewhere. TechRadar did point out one trade-off: the design leaves the Camera Control button exposed and a little harder to reach.
For drops, mounts and minimalists
Troubadour, the case maker formerly known as Mujjo, showed up with a modular version of its classic leather case in a Terracotta finish. Its magnetic back panel pops out so owners can swap in a separately sold MagSafe Card Leather Wallet Stand, which holds three cards and can prop the phone up in portrait or landscape.
CASETiFY's Ripple Case leans into four raised corners meant to disperse impact on a fall. CASETiFY says the case survives drops from up to 6.6 feet, a claim TechRadar says it didn't put to the test directly but found credible after handling the case. It's also built to resist yellowing and staining from things like coffee or crayons.
Peak Design's SlimLink Everyday Loop Case targets anyone who mounts a phone to a car, bike or motorcycle, using a magnet-plus-mechanical system that TechRadar says holds up better against vibration than magnets alone. Those mounts are sold separately. Peak Design also offers a simpler MagSafe-only Everyday Case for people who don't need the hardware.
TechRadar's roundup doesn't list prices across the board, and the piece stops short of covering the remaining cases it mentions in its headline, including Moft's entry. Expect more case makers to roll out iPhone 18 Pro-specific designs as the holiday shopping window opens, with reviewers likely to keep updating these lists as new options land.
