Samsung has begun seeding its third One UI 9.0 beta build to the Galaxy A15 5G, pushing out a small maintenance package aimed squarely at stability.
The update is live right now for enrolled participants in India. It weighs in at roughly 335MB over the air, carrying a build number that ends with the characters ZZJ8. While Samsung has not committed to an exact rollout calendar for other territories, similar beta releases typically branch out to additional countries shortly after making their debut in India.
Do not look for shiny visual overhauls or new tools in this release. Samsung used this round entirely for housecleaning. Chief among the corrections is a fix for a serious bootloop fault that caused certain Galaxy A15 5G handsets to restart over and over immediately following a software upgrade. Beyond that specific headache, Samsung's documentation indicates that this build resolves 62 separate known system problems while updating the base software to the October 2026 Android security patch level.
That makes this release critical for anyone currently running earlier test builds. Reboot loops on budget hardware are an easy way to lose access to bank authenticators and daily transit passes, so ironing out startup crashes is a clear prerequisite before the underlying software is deemed ready for everyday consumers.
Galaxy A15 5G owners in India who want to jump in can look inside the Samsung Members application. If open spaces remain in the test pool, a registration banner will appear on the main screen. Tapping through and enrolling lets you head into the standard Settings screen, choose Software update, and trigger the download manually.
All standard beta cautions apply here. Even with 62 glitches addressed, pre-release software belongs on spare hardware rather than a device you rely on for alarms and phone calls. Samsung has not named an official date for the finished, public One UI 9.0 rollout on the A15 5G, but this third build suggests the software is grinding its way closer to completion.
