Oppo's Find X10 Ultra, not expected until the first half of 2027, is already the subject of a leak that could upend how the company builds its flagship line. A tipster cited by Gizmochina claims Oppo is testing a variant of the phone running MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro, built with chip-level imaging algorithms baked in.
That would be a first. Every Ultra model since the Find X7 Ultra launched in 2024 has run exclusively on Snapdragon silicon, even as Oppo's non-Pro Find X phones stuck with Dimensity chips. If the tipster is right, the Find X10 Ultra would break that pattern and become the first Ultra-series phone to ship with a MediaTek processor, at least in some configuration.
None of this is confirmed. Oppo hasn't said anything about chipset plans for the phone, and the report itself cautions that the final silicon choice could still change before launch. Treat the Dimensity 9600 Pro claim as a leak, not a spec sheet.
The camera leaks are more detailed, if equally unofficial. Earlier reporting points to a 200-megapixel main sensor using LOFIC technology on a module around 1/1.12 inches, paired with a second 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. A 50-megapixel periscope camera with 10x zoom is also tipped, possibly built around a Samsung GNB or OmniVision OV51A sensor. Rounding out the system would be a 100-megapixel square selfie camera and a Samsung HP5 ultrawide lens, with some reports mentioning telephoto macro support as well.
On the front, leaks describe a 6.89-inch BOE panel at 2K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, backed by an 8,500mAh battery. Charging is tipped at 100W wired and 50W wireless, both increases that would track the industry's steady push toward bigger batteries without longer charging times.
Pricing talk has put the phone in Find N6 territory, around 10,000 yuan, which converts to roughly $1,480. That's a China-market figure from leaks, not an official number, and Oppo has not said whether the Find X10 Ultra will reach the US or Indian markets at all. The Find X7 Ultra and Find X8 Ultra both skipped wide US availability, so a silence on global plans this early isn't unusual.
Timing is the other open question. The Find X10 Ultra is expected to launch in China sometime in the first half of 2027, per the current round of leaks, well over a year from now. That leaves plenty of room for the chipset strategy, camera hardware and pricing to shift before Oppo says anything official. For now, every number in this story carries an asterisk, and the biggest one, Snapdragon or Dimensity, may not be settled even internally yet.
