Surface Laptop Ultra price details, availability information, and regional availability are a focus of our reports. We also cover trade-in offers and reviews regarding the display quality.
Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra launches at $2,599 — the base model, not a configuration. It runs Windows on Arm with Nvidia’s new RTX Spark architecture, shares 32GB RAM between CPU and GPU, and delivers strong AI app performance but laggy OS responsiveness. Battery life is ~10 hours. No Indian pricing or launch details are reported.
The Surface Laptop Ultra’s 2000-nits Mini-LED panel has no local dimming, suffers ghosting, and delivers washed-out blacks — despite peak brightness that rivals the MacBook Pro 16 and Yoga Pro. $4,299 gets you 20-core RTX Spark N1X, 64 GB RAM, and a premium metal chassis — but also wobbly hinges, no SD-Express, and a magnetic charger that blocks USB-A.
Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra trade-in offer promises up to $1,000 for MacBook Pros — but most users will get $45 to $275. Only a 2024 M4 14-inch hits $755. The US-only program is live now.
